CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

IMG_4702

I FINALLY MADE COOKIES AND THEY WENT WELL!!! My last couple of batches were literally just cakes and weren’t blog-able so I tried a different recipe! These cookies are very very similar to Millie’s cookies which is just fantastic! I got this recipe off the Good Food website and it is just pure magic…

So the ingredients you need are very simple:

  • 125g butter
  • 100g light soft brown sugar
  • 125g caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 225g SR flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • a load of chocolate chips

The the method you will want to take is again, very simple and the standard kinda thing:

  • Mix the butter and sugars together until smooth and fluffy
  • Add in the egg (you can beat before or just crack it and mix in the bowl… saves washing up!)
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix til everything is looking good and there aren’t any bits that aren’t combined
  • Weigh out the flour and fold into the mixture and add in the little bit of salt
  • Tip in as many chocolate chips as you want/can (typically between 50g-200g)
  • Put in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes, leave them to cool afterwards and you’re good to go!

I really really really really hope everyone makes these because they are to DIE for (and literally take 20 minutes to ‘create’)!!!!!!!
